3rd DDB Student Leadership Awardee is a Notre Damean

General Santos City, December 5,2009 -- Ma. Leda Z. Yumang, student at the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, has been named as the Darlene Dilangalen Borromeo Student Nursing Leadership Award for 2009 for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in student leadership.





A member of the 7th National Youth Parliament, Ms. Yumang is currently pursuing her BSN at the said University. She was a dean's lister for the first two years in her university life.

Experienced in student leadership, Ms. Yumang is affiliated with the Philippine Nursing Student Association, GSC Interschool Youth Network, Mindanao Youth Parliament, among others.

Ms. Yumang is also an active member of her community as she is a member of the Barangay Lagao Council for the Protection of Children. She is also the chapter president of the Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society in her university.
