CNU Names New Dean for the College of Nursing

Cebu Normal University has named Jezyl Cempron-Cutamora dean of the College of Nursing. She will lead a team of more than 15 full-time faculty and staff, and serve as a member of the university’s Leadership Team. Cutamora begins her role as dean in April 2017.

Cutamora's selection will continue the college’s upward trajectory in nursing education for the coming years.

Cutamora holds the following degrees: a Ph.D. Education major in Research and Evaluation, and a M.N. both from Cebu Normal University, and a B.S.N. from City Medical Center College of Nursing. Cutamora’s research interests qualitative and quantitative approaches to research. She published in international nursing and health journals as well as presented in many national and international conferences and seminars.

CNU’s College of Nursing is one of the top nursing schools in the Philippines. It is a state university based in Cebu City. It offers program at the baccalaureate, master's and doctorate levels.
