Michael Joseph Diño selected as fellow of American Academy of Nursing

Michael Joseph Diño, professor at the Our Lady of Fatima University, has been selected to be a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. 

Diño earned a PhD in Education from the University of Santo Tomas and is currently pursuing his second PhD at the the John Hopkins University. He holds professional membership with the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society.




“We are incredibly proud of Dr. Diño as he receives this well-deserved honor,” according to the leadership team of the Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society. “His leadership and contributions to the field of nursing make him a tremendous example for Filipino nurses.”

The American Academy of Nursing is an honorific society that recognizes nursing’s most accomplished leaders in policy, research, practice, administration and academia. Academy fellows, from nearly 40 countries, hold a wide variety of influential roles in health care. Fellows are selected based on their contributions and impact in advancing the public’s health.

The 2022 inductees will be celebrated at the academy’s annual Health Policy Conference, Oct. 27 to 29 in Washington, D.C. Once the newest Fellows are inducted, the Academy will be comprised of more than 3,000 leaders who are experts in policy, research, administration, practice, and academia that champion health and wellness, locally and globally.
